INSTRUCTIONS
Project 2 - 30 Seconds Magic Trick Video
WEEK 4
Mr. Martin was show students several video of Zack king magic trick and requested students pick the one of magic trick video for project 2. Below is my chosen of Zach King's trick as a reference for Project 2.

Plot segmentation
In the video, Zack king drawn on the paper and turn it to object. I will use the same magic trick technique that draw on paper to object in my project 2. Before thinking the plot segmentation of this project, student have been asked to watch the video that provide by Mr. Martin and do a exercise of understanding the 3 act structure. The following is the exercise of 3 act structure:

- She using laptop
- She receive an email of birthday invitation on laptop
- She move away laptop and take out A4 paper and color pencil box
from beg beside her - She draw a present box on A4 paper
- She take out color pencil from color pencil box
- She thrown color pencil on paper and the present box on paper fill up with color
- She take up the A4 paper and turn it to object (present box)
- She take the present box and beg leave
This week, we have learnt about the shoot size before and now we have to choose and apply the difference of sizes to every single frame.

WEEK 6
Student asked to create storyboard with project 2 plot segmentation. Storyboard can be drawn, taking photo or do digital storyboard. I decide to draw my storyboard following the draft that did before.

WEEK 7
I refer to the following video and incorporate its techniques into my video. It seems easy, but in fact it is still difficult to operate. It is easier to operate because it is only related to objects. But in the film I planned, someone needs to turn the paper into a gift. If the characters in the film move , It will cause the film to become unnatural in post-editing

WEEK 8
I started shooting this project this week. I chose to use Canon's DSLR for shooting. I didn't choose to use the phone to shoot the video because the clarity of the video would be greatly reduced. To be honest, this is the first time I shoot a video, I keep adjusting the lens and then review the draft and adjust the lens again, in order to get the correct shot size. In such a situation where time and power are being consumed, this shooting process took me nearly a week to complete. The following is the video I selected to edit in all the scripts I shot:

WEEK 11
After a week, I finally made the first attempt of video.

WEEK 9
This week I started to modify the video, cut off some useless videos, and arrange the video in the right sequences. In addition, I also editing the sound of this video. I found the suitable sound on Free Sound, like open the cap of pen, the mouse click and more.

WEEK 12Feedback : Mr. Martin asked me to edit one or two parts of the video to shorten the time of the video. He taught and improved the problem of color correction, and hoped that I could add some background sounds, such as neighbors' sounds, children's playing sounds, etc.

REFLECTIONS
In the process of this project, my mood was not very depressed, but very excited. Mr. Martin gave a brief introduction to this project a long time ago, so I am very clear about what to do next. This It is a good thing for students, because I find that the process of shooting and editing the film is really time-consuming. In the process, I explored a lot of interesting sound effects and editing skills, which can make me have a better understanding in knowledge and skill of video and sound production. This final project is my favorite project, because it not only allows students to have practical experience in manipulating the lens, but also allows students to continuously explore and discover new pleasures in the process of modifying the film.
