PROJECT 1 - POSTER
Week 4 (26/01/2021)
Students were asked to choose a video on a youtube channel called Pasta Grannies and make a related infographic poster and a 60s animation for it. After watching most of the videos, I really like a granny named Santina to make the Pasta, called Lolli Nte Usa. Click here to view the video.

Week 4 (26/01/2021)

I started drawing the sketch and arrange the Information into poster after jotting down the steps. In addition, we must also find references as our style of painting and color scheme.
This week, I gradually completed several assets.

After completing these assets, I started to put them into the poster and started to design the poster. The font I chose is OVERLOCK, because I think the rounded font fits the image and character of the granny in the video. The background designer of the poster is based on the background wall of granny’s home in the film. Below is the poster:

Week 6 (09/02/2021)
After finishing the poster, I started to draw a draft for the animation storyboard.
After finishing the storyboard, I started to process the animation frame by frame in Photoshop. Although some frames are not calculated very well, it means that the movie is too fast. At this time, I will choose “TIme” in Adobe After Effect and adjust the time to slow down.
Week 7 (16/02/2021)
In the production process, I combined these png sequences into AE and limited it to 60s according to the video requirements.

Next, I put the exported animation video on Premier Pro, added sound effects and adjusted the sound.

After watching the video repeatedly, I think the background color is not so in line with the video, so I changed to blue, which is more cheerful and relaxed.

Week 6 (09/02/2021)

In order to make the film more lively, I found a very suitable music and looked for various sound effects. Below is some part of sample sound:
