WEEK 7-12/05/2021

Students are to produce an acting and talking character in a scene accompanied with a

dialogue audio. Students can choose to adapt their characters from the integrated subject, Film Studies & Cinematography, which is highly-recommended by Lecturer. 

This week, Ms. Jen provided several audio clips for students to choose. However, I think Nemo’s "You touched the butt" is quite suitable for my role. In the end I decided to use this audio clip.

Then I started to draw the first draft, but I found something was wrong, so I looked for inspiration on the Internet. And I found this Tweety bird and Despicable me which give me a lot of idea:

With inspiration, I started to draw in Adobe Animate.

WEEK 8-19/05/2021
This week, I have a consultation with Ms. Jen. Ms. Jen indicate that draft is ok to work on it. And i start work on animate. Below is the 3 key pose:

Then, I continued to work on in -between.

WEEK 9-26/05/2021

When I consulted with Ms. Jen, Ms. Jen indicated that the mouth shape of the character in the animation is not right, and it needs to be improved and remember to add the background. So based on the lecturer video, I improved the character mouth shape more carefully.  I also added a background image. Below is the final video:

WEEK 10-02/06/2021

Ms. Jen said that the animation has nothing to change. So I finally confirmed the drawing and I submitted it.
