EXERCISE 1

WEEK 1 - 26/08/2021
As weekly exercise, We are asked to create three compositing work using the same collages' design elements. In the exercise I prepared the element from newspaper below:

WEEK 2 - 02/09/2021
After preparing the collage's design elements that have been cut, we need to compose the picture and put them together with our own stories and concepts. Below is my 3 composition design:

EXERCISE 2

Create your own composition based on the requirements below: 

1. Download all of the design elements from this link:

2. Using Photoshop, create A4 size canvas. Trace and crop the images using the Pen tool. Use blending modes to create double exposure effects. 

3. Create 3 different composition (using the same design elements)

Lecturer's Feedback :
Good composition, especially third. Good color blending, can see the motion here. Use it in composition animation.

WEEK 5 - 23/09/2021

Students have to complete tasks follow instructions below.

  1. Follow instructions on the Tutorial demo during the online class. 


  1. Create your own composition based on the requirements below:


  1. Download all of the design elements from this link:

  2. Create 1080 x 1920 size poster (I.G Stories size) on Photoshop

  3. Trace and crop the images using the Pen tool.

  4. Create 1 composition and attach it below (I.G poster)

  5. Animate the composition for 5-16 second loop with sound (I.G video story)


The poster I choose for this task is Poster 3, below is the video I create:

Lecturer's Feedback :
The graphic and the sound work well, the schedule is very good at all times, and the graphic come out direction is right.

Reflection:
I am very happy to see the final result, as Mr. Fauzi said, the sound effects and the overall mood of the animation are all there. I also have a newer understanding of composition, as well as bolder ideas to design in layout.
